Ring Warming
THE MORE, THE MARRY-er!
The Ring Warming ritual is a wonderful way to involve family and friends in your wedding ceremony.
The wedding rings are placed in a bag, bowl, pillow, or tied to ribbons, which may be passed around to all your guests, or to only a select group of individuals such as your family members. While holding the rings, each person is asked to make a wish or say a blessing for the newlyweds.
When the rings return to the couple, they exchange their rings with one another.
This ceremony symbolizes that good and successful marriages need support and love from their families and friends.
The Ring Warming ritual is usually done right before the Ring Exchange unless a number of guests are asked to “warm the rings.” Then it may be started earlier to ensure enough time for everyone to “warm the rings” by the time the Ring Exchange takes place.

Sample excerpt from ceremony
“At this time, we will pass around the rings. This is called a ring warming ceremony. We are asking that as you pass the rings you share your blessings, positive vibes, and prayers. When the rings make their way back to the front, they will exchange them and carry your love on their journey through life together. These rings are starting out as cold pieces of metal, but they will return warmed with your love.”
